Welcome to the Churchill High School's

ICT

 (Information Communication Technology)

website

Students will organize and catagorize information using outlines, spreadsheets, tables and charts. They will develop the ability to solve problems using the information that they analyze. They will be able to recognize if media is legitimate and whether information is sufficient for intended purpose or audience. Students will be able to use multiple tools for electronic communication. Students will also learn about security, privacy and digital ethics.

This course is a student led course. Students will work independently and at their own pace to review topic/lesson specific tutorials and complete related assignments. Many of the tutorials have video and audio so students are recommended to bring earphones but are not required to. An inclass instructor is available to answer or clarify any questions regarding the assignments. For inquiries outside of classroom hours you can email Ms. B. at ____@wsd1.org. Assignment deadlines are at the end of the term for Section 1 (end of section defined by instructor) and the end of the semester for Section 2.

Save all assignments to your designated folder in the T-drive (under folder MacLennan - ICT - your name).
